Description
AUSTIN, TX — A person was injured and taken to a local hospital after a shooting in southeast Austin on Tuesday night.
Police say the incident took place around 9:18 p.m. at the intersection of East Stassney Lane and South Pleasant Valley Road.
Authorities said a man was found shot and taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

Officials learned that several people took off running following the shooting. APD searched the area for the shooter. It is unclear if any arrests were made Tuesday.
This wasn't the only shooting to take place in southeast Austin. Police said they responded to another incident about a half mile away from the intersection.
APD says these incidents appear to be separate but cannot confirm if they are related.
