A Northwest Auto Dealer is currently seeking an organized and responsible maintenance manager for our facilities. The ideal candidate will need to understand mechanical and technical work as well as have excellent leadership and supervisory skills. You will direct and oversee all daily maintenance activities including delegation of tasks, tracking mechanical performance, and directing the processes of any necessary repairs as well as assisting with maintenance duties as needed. Take a look at the worthwhile compensation package that we offer to our Maintenance Manager: • Competitive pay (DOE) • Paid weekly • 1-week Paid Vacation after six months of employment • Paid Sick Leave • Paid Holidays (we think you're great and consider your BIRTHDAY a holiday!) • Medical, Dental, Vision, and supplementary benefits • Employer matching 401k • Wellness Program • Employee Vehicle Purchase Program Responsibilities: Oversee, manage and direct all maintenance procedures and operations Ensure all machinery is up to working standards Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency Manage proactively Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc) Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts Oversee repairs Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures Create a work environment with safety as a high priority Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work Record and track daily progress/error reports Maintain vendor relationships and order new materials as needed Create and adhere to maintenance budgets Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol Assist in performance of repair and construction work as well as other maintenance duties. Operate hand and power tools, light and heavy equipment. Assisting Maintenance Technicians in making repairs to dealership property, tools and equipment. Meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform duties. Maintains professional appearance. Treat all customers with respect and dignity. Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required 1+ year Contractor Experience required 5+ years relevant experience in maintenance Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Previous managerial experience highly preferred Experience managing multiple vendors Ability to consistently maintain positive client relationships Applicants are subject to a pre-employment driving record check, background check and drug test.
