He held the woman at knifepoint and forced her to drive to the QuikTrip on Army Post Road then to a vacant lot on Dickman Road, where court documents show he planned to sexually assault her. The victim got away and ran to officers for help. (KCCI Des Moines) Brian Huber, who essentially died during Iowa's Dam to Des Moines race this year, finally had that chance to meet the strangers who saved him. Senior Des Moines police Officer Steve Walters was the first to rush to Huber and he began CPR. It was the first time Walters saved a life.
