PASADENA, CA — The Doo Dah Parade will not be held this year because of the pandemic, organizers said Wednesday.
"Due to current health guidelines, the Pasadena Doo Dah Parade will be postponed until next year," organizers said. "While many people are disappointed and will miss this year's event, the unique 'Other Parade' will return in full color in 2022."
Calling itself the "twisted sister of the conventional Rose Parade," the event is usually held during the weekend before Thanksgiving and is seen as an irreverent take on parades with participants dressed in outlandish costumes.
Last year's parade was held virtually because of the pandemic, organizers said.
