Mobile DMV Coming To Oswego Friday

OSWEGO, IL — If you haven't had time to make it to the DMV but need to get your license or vehicle sticker renewed, Oswego's mobile DMV event Friday might help solve that problem. Rep. Keith Wheeler and Sen. Linda Holmes are partnering with the Illinois Secretary of State to make drivers' services available at Oswego's Village Hall, located at 100 Parkers Mill Place, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Some of the services that will be offered include renewing vehicle stickers and State ID cards as well as renewing, correcting or replacing a driver's license. People can also sign up to become organ donors when they renew their licenses. Proper identification will be needed to take care of these services at the mobile DMV. Real ID driver's licenses and State ID cards won't be offered Friday. Road tests also can't be completed at the event, and seniors ages 75 and older have to visit a facility to renew their license.
