Motorcyclist Dead After Crashing Into New Hampshire Highway Sign

THORNTON, NH — A man on a motorcycle was killed after police say he crashed his bike into a highway sign on Interstate 93 south in Thornton Monday night. New Hampshire state troopers responded to reports of a crash near mile marker 88.8 around 6:30 p.m. to find a man who they pronounced dead at the scene. Roy Voisine, 54, of Chester, Maine, was driving a 1993 Honda motorcycle when investigators say he lost control of his bike, veering off the road and into a highway sign. State police and investigators say alcohol and speed appear to be contributing factors in the crash. Police are investigating the events leading up to the accident. No further information was available.
