PHILADELPHIA — On Friday, the FBI raided the home of a Philadelphia Proud Boys leader for information on the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, according to multiple media sources.
The Inquirer reports the FBI arrived at Newark, Delaware home of Aaron Whallon Wolkind, 37, around 4 a.m. Friday. Wolkind's lawyer Jonathon Moseley said he believes the FBI was looking for information on Zach Rehl, president of the Philadelphia Proud Boys, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Federal officials took Whallon-Wolkind's electronic devices, including his computer, Talking Points Memo reports.
Wolkind was handcuffed, but not arrested or charged, reports state. Authorities attempted to interview him there in his home but he reportedly refused to speak without a lawyer present.
