POSITION OVERVIEW This hands-on position is responsible for providing proactive daily grounds and facilities maintenance for private residences and commercial properties located in the Littleton, CO area. Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, this position may also assist in performing routine preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment, vehicles, and grounds. This is not a live-on/live-in position and only local candidates will be considered. Key responsibilities include: • Respond promptly to homeowner and manager requests • Perform general handyman work, preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and perform basic repair and maintenance on tools, vehicles and equipment • Perform miscellaneous duties including: o Snow removal o Gutter cleaning o Landscape maintenance o Irrigation maintenance o Indoor and outdoor lighting maintenance o Window washing o Trash and recycling o Pool and spa care o Dog care o Exterior building/roofing, furniture and patio maintenance o Appliance and plumbing maintenance o Light carpentry o Vehicle and watercraft maintenance and detailing o Seasonal lighting installation o General “fix-its” as required • Assure each day’s activities and issues that occur are communicated appropriately • Monitoring of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly punch lists and routine maintenance schedules • Assistance in maintaining property files and records, including equipment and maintenance documents • Communicate clearly and consistently with all property staff, vendors, and off-site partners The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting private families in a residential, apartment or condominium setting. Strong interpersonal skills are required as this position will be of direct support to homeowners. Local travel in support of facilities requirements at other non-Littleton properties will be required. Must be legally able to drive and operate a motor vehicle. Must provide their own transportation to and from work. EDUCATION AND WORKING STYLE Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully: Education, Skills & Experience: o Minimum of two years mechanical, construction, and/or landscaping experience is required, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, grounds keeping or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience, preferably in a residential, apartment or condominium environment. o Ability to operate various hand and power tools and equipment used in grounds keeping such as lawnmower, power washers, shears, trimmer etc. o Demonstrated experience in maintaining the confidentiality, safety, security and privacy of employer. o Comfortable working with a Smart phone and ability to communicate via text message. o Fluent in the English language. Familiarity with Spanish a plus. o May be required to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds. Working Style o Must be a discreet individual with the ability to work independently and as a team member. o Ability to work closely with homeowners, employees, vendors and design and construction professionals to promote a productive congenial environment. o Ability to accommodate a non-traditional work schedule and remain flexible to meet the needs of homeowners. o Possess a hands-on, “No job too big or too small” attitude. SALARY & BENEFITS This role will be paid hourly and is eligible for overtime. Employer paid medical insurance and 401k. 15 days of paid time off. Vacation scheduling with manager approval. Daily schedule is generally Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional weekends and evenings required. Candidates must successfully complete a background investigation, employer-provided on-line assessments, and drug screen. Local candidates only. Must reside within 20 minutes. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
