Alright Flag Nazis, I swear you are the reason Craigslist has died, I can't even include a picture of an apple? Get off your high horse jacka*s, and get a life, seriously pathetic... Anyway. One last try before Craigslist is forever forgotten. :-/ ------------------- Oh, hello! I have a question for you, if you close your eyes and I tell you to visualize an apple, can you see an apple? Or do you just feel the "image" of an apple? I was watching a video from a YouTuber called "Morgue Official", who was actually focusing on another subject, but he had mentioned the concept of visualization and, that there are 2 types of people in this world (in regards to this subject), 1 type that when they close their eyes they can actually see, in color a solid clear image of what it is they are trying to visualize, and another type who doesn't see, rather they feel the "image". Me personally, am one who "feels" the image. I mean, I suppose if I focus hard enough I might be able to visualize the outlines of an image, but it has no depth, it's not solid, it doesn't look real, but the feeling completes it. I still consider myself artistic, I can draw detailed images, I wonder if I could draw even better if I could actually see my concepts in my head? Am I the only person who actually works like this? When I heard this concept I paused the video and immediately asked many people... The results are so far, 3 (including me) feel the image, and 27 actually see an image, in color. What's more, is many of these people who can actually see the image in their head, say they can also actually visualize a solid, in color detailed image right in front of them even with their eyes open. Can you do this too?? I just think this is fascinating, I have lived 36 years and I never knew anyone could actually see clear realistic detailed images in their head when they think. This would be awesome! So now I also wonder, is this something I can train my mind to do? Is the area of my mind that would create images just by thinking of them underdeveloped? Or is is completely missing? Is this genetic? I asked my mom, he is the 2nd person of the 3 who don't see an apple, and for the results I got, this does make me feel it could be genetic... But I need more answers. Please let me know your answer, and if possible, of your siblings and even parents. I do want to know what it is you see when I tell you to visualize an apple. Is it floating in blackness? In whiteness? Is it sitting on a table? What color is it? Can you still visualize even if your eyes are open? I want all the details, I envy your ability to see... And those who feel like me, be descriptive of this as well, how else does your visualization work? My name is Vicky, I am 36. Thank you for your time
