WOODBURY, MN — Woodbury officials are looking for residents to serve on several of the city's advisory commissions, with many incumbents' terms due to expire at the end of the year.
Seats will open in 2022 on Woodbury's commissions overseeing planning, economic development, audits and investments, parks and natural resources, and the watershed district. Most terms last for three years.
There will also be openings on the Planning Commission and Parks and Natural Resources Commission for Woodbury students in 11th and 12th grades. Student terms are for one year.
The Woodbury City Council is expected to interview applicants Nov. 6. Council members will consider candidates' relevant personal and professional experience, as well as their knowledge of their communities and city government processes, according to the city's website.
