Hey musicians out there, My passion has always been music and guitar. I've decided to take a direction to help others achieve their musical goals. I've been playing guitar for 22 years and have discovered a lot along my way as being a self-taught musician. My scope of teaching is broad but will be a focus of learning to create melodies which will teach you to hear chords and to build them on your own, rhythmic exploration, understanding the instrument, and some theory (if you choose to pursue it), although not full necessary, it may be a good idea to learn some theory in order to communicate with other musicians, but like said before it is not necessary in my course. I will act as a coach to aid you into finding your own creative voice and by doing so, to help you to better understand the home base of guitar playing; hand(s) to mind interaction by control and intuition balance, releasing blockages and doubts, the sounds and mechanics of the instrument - (we could even discuss the inner workings of the guitar as I do have experience with building the electronics and with setting up the guitar.) It helps to know your instrument and to be able to make subtle repairs if needed. I can help you to learn songs if you like, but my main goal is not to teach you how to PLAY or to sound like someone other than yourself, you already have the essence of play within you and once you know how to make use of the instrument then you can let go and enjoy this amazing art. It is up to a guide like me to show you what I know - to pass along my information and be beside you as you find you own path to unblocking your learning curves of the instrument. Of course, you can pick up the guitar and PLAY with it; I aim to take you deeper to an area where play exists along with the knowledge of the complex instrument. Remember, you know how to play and you know what you love to hear. It is my work to bring an understanding of that instrument to you so you can eventually leave my courses behind and go off on your own. Here's some wisdom: I nor any honest guide does not want to keep you as a student - we want you to learn to guide yourself in order to go off on your own creative journey as an artist.
