EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Evergreen Park Community High School will unveil its new athletic fields, and honor former Mayor James Sexton, with a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14. The ceremony will take place on the sidewalk between the school and the fields at 9901 S. Kedzie Ave. Chicago White Sox legend Ron Kittle will be on hand after the ribbon-cutting, signing autographs and posing for selfies.
