Pool and Spa Depot,  is interviewing candidates to be Construction Laborers based out of our LaVergne location! The Construction Laborers (CL) will be responsible for assisting tradesman on construction sites such as bricklayers, cement finishers, and plumbers. CL load and unload materials, erect wood forms and mix and pour materials such as concrete and assists in digging of swimming pools. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, bending over, and handling of materials.  In short, you will be building Inground Pools.   Job Duties include; but are not limited to the following: -Clean and prepare construction sites and maintain them through completion. -Acquire information and tools needed to perform each job assigned before beginning -Assist construction site workers with the laying of payers, digging ditches, and laying plumbing material -Load, unload and distribute building materials -Operate tools and equipment (e.g., saws, drills, grinders, pressure cleaners, etc.) properly and safely -Perform preventative and regular maintenance on tools and equipment -Erect lumber forms around swimming pools and spas -Drill and dig into earth and rock -Mix and pour concrete and asphalt -Level concrete using trowels and shovels -Clean up spills and remove trash and debris from construction sites. -Laying pavers and tile work -Operate a Bobcat or skid steer QUALIFICATIONS: -1-4 years construction experience or equivalent -Valid Driver’s License (We do require driving to job site and trips to acquire materials.) -Clean driving record -Ability to work Monday - Saturday from sun-up to sun-down -Must pass a drug test We offer a competitive benefits plan including health benefits.  Pool and Spa Depot is a Drug-Free Workplace.
