Getting called from the health dept about a serious matter, Covid in our household, and being read a script. I listened and could tell the person doing the job was trying to just keep moving along. It was obvious that they are under pressure. I suspect they are being expected to reach all the cases. Yet, I have a friend who said they left 2 messages for them and never called again, both messages were in the same day when they were too sick to even answer the phone. I am disappointed, but I also have great respect for the contact tracers. I have known someone who did the job and enjoyed it but it sure seems different from what they described they did. I can read the info online but I also could have used a little conversation to walk me through the dynamics of our household. It sure seems like everything now has become self serve. Disappointed.
