Seeking Bass Player for original metal/rock band

We're an original metal/rock band looking for a bass player who wants to help us write originals. We have about 6 songs written and almost completed recording. We sound like a mixture of 80s hair metal, Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden, and some kind of band with a few heavier riffs. Not tied to a sound, we love the creative experience of writing together. The four of us are tight-knit, and looking for someone who wants to join that. Our songs are tight and I can send samples upon request. We've been unlucky with bass players for the better part of 2 years, so we're seeking someone who already knows how to play, and can pick up most of a song by ear. We have a plan for the future, too. If we don't become a successful band with thousands of fans, it won't be for lack of effort and diligent planning. Shoot me a note and we can talk. We're all in our mid-late 20s- ish, but definitely don't mind someone a little older who brings heart and experience. You should have a sense of humor, have little tolerance for drama, and have a passion for having fun with the boys.
