Here are the top stories today in Atlanta: Two Fulton County elections workers allegedly seen shredding paper voter registration ballots were fired the same day. Fulton County Elections Director Richard Barron said 300 applications related to municipal elections received within the last two weeks were destroyed by the two employees, who have not been identified. The case has been reported to the Fulton County District Attorney's office as well as the Secretary of State's office. Fulton County residents with questions may call the Fulton County Department of Registration & Elections at 404-612-7030.(WSB Atlanta)Doorbell video captured thieves robbing an Uber Eats driver in Atlanta recently and dragging her down the street when they took off with her car. Police recovered Veronica Vasquez Ortiz's vehicle, but not the cash she says had inside it for her son's college fund, more than $1,500. Ortiz, who was running late on multiple deliveries Oct. 5 because of traffic, left the car running as she quickly hopped out, a mistake she says she won't make again. Officers are still searching for the two suspects involved, and Ortiz believes a third person acted as a "lookout." Freddie Freeman crushed a solo home run in the eighth inning off Josh Hader to win Game 4 of the NLDS. Game 1 of the NLCS will be Saturday, with the Braves facing the winner of the Giants-Dodgers NLDS. "When an airline gets behind, it's really hard to catch up," Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly said after chaos led to traveler outrage. After canceling nearly 2,400 flights since Saturday, Tuesday's 87 cancellations suggested the carrier is stabilizing its operations.
