Pacific Environmental Corporation (PENCO) is currently hiring for a full-time Environmental Response Technician on the Kenai Peninsula. This is a 40 + hour per week position and includes full benefits (Medical, Dental, PTO & 401K) and will be based in Kenai with required travel throughout the Peninsula. Job duties include water sampling, hazardous waste manifesting and disposal, spill response and cleanup, and other required environmental and administrative duties as assigned. Minimum requirements for this position are 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification, REDBOOK certification, NSTC training and basic spill response knowledge. We are a drug free company: all candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana), criminal background check and pre-employment physical exam. All candidates must possess a current valid driver’s license. Candidates that have a Class A CDL w/ Hazmat and/or X endorsement or current 40 Hr HAZWOPER certification will be given priority.
