The Route 55 Jazz Orchestra (www.55jazz.com) has two openings for a TRUMPET player. Must be able to play big band music in the tradition of Ellington, Basie, and Herman and can READ charts. Opportunities to improvise if you can, but not required. All fun, though NO PAY for this band. We rehearse EVERY Monday evening in the beautiful Holly Spring Cultural Center, and play about six events per season. These are almost all in Holly Springs on Saturday evenings.
