Hunters Glen Veterinary Hospital is a busy, full-service veterinary hospital in South Tulsa. We offer a wide range of medical services, as well as boarding and daycare services. We're a small, close-knit team looking for a motivated kennel attendant to help the cats and dogs boarding with us. We can accommodate full- or part-time hours (somewhere between 10-35 hours/week, depending on business). -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- WEEKDAY HOURS • Monday – Friday AM: 7:00am until done with duties (usually no later than 11am) • Tuesday & Wednesday PM: 3:30pm until done with duties (usually no later than 7pm) WEEKEND HOURS (*split between two people*) • Saturday & Sunday AM: 8:00am until done with duties (usually no later than 12am) • Saturday & Sunday PM: 3:30pm until done with duties (usually no later than 7pm) • Don't worry! Weekend and holiday shifts will be split with another kennel attendant. • Because of the nature of this position, weekends AND holidays are necessary shifts. It is expected that you will be available for work during those times. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- MAIN DUTIES • Feeding, medicating, and walking patients who are boarding with us. • Scooping and cleaning litter boxes and cat condos. • Assisting veterinarian and technician in treatment area. • General house-keeping (laundry, cleaning kennels, washing food/water bowls, sweeping, mopping, et cetera...). • Other small projects as requested by hospital owner. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- A COUPLE OTHER THINGS • This position will require occasion lifting of up to 45 pounds. • Must be comfortable working with all breeds of cats and dogs. • Must have reliable transportation. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- COMPENSATION • Negotiable, depending on experience. $9.00-$11.00/hour • Employee discounts for pet services -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- TO APPLY • Please answer the questions below only AFTER reading the listing.
