Description

We are a foster-based rescue in L.A. (Pacific Pups Rescue) and we are always looking for foster homes! But it seems like lately in particular, it's been especially hard to find foster homes, especially for bigger dogs (always harder to find foster homes for bigger dogs). Here are some of our current dogs looking for foster homes: 1) Pikachu: https://pacificpupsrescue.com/services/pikachu/ - needs foster at least Oct. 16 - 20! 2) Raichu: https://pacificpupsrescue.com/services/raichu/ - needs foster at least Oct. 16 - 20! 3) Jack: https://pacificpupsrescue.com/services/jack-2/ - needs temp foster 10/28 - 11/1 Here are some dogs that we have been trying to get out of shelters but haven't been able to find foster homes for so far (Pictures are shown in order): 1) BRUNO, currently at the shelter, is a male, about 2 years old and about 50 pounds. This guy is a "big time staff favorite" because he's so sweet and easy-going! He is a bit shy at first, but then bonds quickly and seeks affection. Poor guy had to have his hind leg and most of his tail amputated due to a car accident! When we inquired, the shelter staff person was so happy someone was interested in him! Here is a video of him: https://youtu.be/1_Yc7mXdo_w 2) SHAYNE is a female, about 40 pounds and 1 year old. She was very unhappy about being at the shelter when she first arrived, and was not being nice. But she got used to it and is now friendly and easy to handle. She does have puppy energy, and sometimes gets mouthy, so she does need to be taught manners. She likes people, but not dogs. We work mainly in the Western part of L.A., anywhere from about Redondo Beach to the San Fernando Valley, and West of Downtown. If you are interested in fostering, we will ask you to fill out a foster questionnaire and to send us a video home-check. https://pacificpupsrescue.com/
