Description

We are looking for warehouse associate who can start immediately. We are located in South Fulton Industrial area. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Order pulling, packing, and shipping Compares identifying information, counts, weights, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records Notifies supervisor of all shortages Affixes shipping labels, packing slips, and other identifying information on cartons Posts weights and shipping charges, affixes postage as necessary Maintains the inventory of shipping materials and supplies Sets up, organizes, and maintains staging area for finished product shipment and loading Maintains a clean and organized Shipping Department KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent Basic active listening skills, reading comprehension, writing and arithmetic skills Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and tools Computer literate, experience with small parcel shipping programs a must International shipping experience Ability to lift 60 pounds required Organizational and time management skills Experience with Shipstation preferred WORKING CONDITIONS are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products up to 60 pounds at one time. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment and proper clothing. 90-95% of work is standing throughout the shift. Experience: ShippingEasy, Shipstation,Worldship, etc: 1 year (Preferred) 1-2 years experience in the shipping and receiving department (Preferred)
