Maintenance Technician Immediate Hire Apartment Management Co. seeks general maintenance individual to perform repairs for assigned facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, HVAC, and other building systems. Duties/Responsibilities: • Perform general repairs which do not require a specialized technician. IE: drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing & electrical, repairing doors and other building fixtures. • Routine building maintenance. • Facility upkeep. • Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. • Knowledge of general carpentry & repair. • Ability to use hand and power tools. • Excellent organizational & time management skills. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Related experience. Physical Requirements: • Must be physically able to climb ladders. • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time. • Must pass drug testing. • No criminal background. • Must have reliable transportation.
