Are you a retired or semi-retired contractor looking to work approximately 10 hrs a week? We have several new construction buildings that are in need of weekly rounds. Seeking part time "Porter" to assist and support in the required cleaning and property maintenance necessary to maintain curb appeal and the overall appearance and quality of various properties close in NE Portland. Job Description: The following jobs are part of the Porter job description, however this description does not cover all items that may arise and is subject to change. Picking up trash, blowing parking lots, weeding and weed killing, maintaining trash areas, vacuuming and moping common areas. graffiti removal, pressure washing, common area touch up paint. Window washing (exterior ground level only) General: Off property errands to pick up supplies & Maintaining maintenance records. Skills required: Minimum of high school diploma/GED Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing Ability to adhere to fair housing laws Polite disposition Must be able to push/pull 70lbs Would be great if you had some of your own tools but tools can be provided as needed. Valid Driver's License Your own vehicle Compensation: $25hr to start. You need at least a business license. You will be an independent contractor and will need to provide a W9 and receive a 1099.
