Scaffold Helpers will be responsible for assisting work on and around Navy vessels assisting with scaffolding erection. Carrying materials to and from worksite, or in the yard. MUST be comfortable with heights. Must have knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction. Must be able to meet all physical requirements. Standing, walking, climbing stairs, light to heavy lifting, heavy lifting, twisting, kneeling, stooping, and bending. Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs. Must follow all safety rules and regulations for safe operations. Job Requirements: 1 year minimum labor experience. Shipyard experience a bonus. Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screen. Must be DBIDS eligible. Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
