Located in the Dallas Design District, our 15,000 square foot showroom houses a well-edited collection of new and vintage furniture, artwork, lighting and home accessories from around the globe. Love kicking butt, working hard, and having fun all at the same time? Come on over! About the job The warehouse custodian will be responsible for general cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse. Job Duties Sweep, mop, and dust all areas throughout the warehouse daily. Clean restrooms and break areas daily and maintain cleanlinessthroughout the workday. Empty or recycle warehouse trash and garbage containers. Notifies management concerning needs for repairs needed throughout the warehouse. Maintains presentation of the parking area and the exterior grounds of the property. Provides water and maintenance to landscaping if necessary. Accept UPS, Amazon, and FedEX packages if needed and distribute them to employees. Other tasks as assigned by management. What will make you a rockstar in this role? The warehouse is climate controlled and newly renovated but the person in this role can expect to work around typical warehouse and shipping conditions, inside and outdoors. This role will require frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and manipulating to complete tasks. Lifting and carrying at least 50 pounds regularly is expected.
