Venture General Contracting is hiring for a Laborer! $500 Sign-on Bonus. Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. Help equipment operator, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary. Load or unload construction materials. Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding. Perform site clean-up. Understand and maintain Venture Safety Program standards. Monitor general condition items such as tools, cleaning supplies, safety masks, etc. Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. One year of experience working in the construction industry preferred. Knowledge of jobsite safety procedures. Knowledge of commercial and multi-family construction techniques, tools and equipment. Basic knowledge of computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email. Thorough understanding of correct and safe operation of all related tools and equipment. This is an hourly position, $20 - $25/hour. Full benefits + 401k! $500 Sign-on Bonus.
