A busy young entrepreneurial couple is seeking an experienced live-out, Executive Housekeeper for their residence on Bainbridge Island. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain the living environment in a clean and organized manner that supports the Employers’ focus on their work in the fields of social and environmental impact. Duties are centered on hands-on regular and deep cleaning, linen and laundry services, home organization, inventory management, pet room maintenance, and seasonal and travel-related wardrobe management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working efficiently and quietly in homes, meticulous attention to detail, be organized and methodical, and an efficient communicator. This role requires consistent completion of all items on an established checklist of standards for the property. This position requires a self-motivated individual who takes the initiative when tidying and tending to spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful, peaceful environments in the home. The Employers are looking for a team player with a service-oriented focus and a high degree of professionalism. The role requires a thoughtful, intuitive approach to moving throughout the home when the owners are present and a sensitivity to preserving their privacy and respecting their personal space. Interests in nature, yoga, or mindfulness are a plus. This job is ~10am-6pm, MONDAY-WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY, salaried with excellent compensation ($35/hr and up) based on experience. Relocation stipend considered for the right candidate. This is a dedicated, long-term role. Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and willing to observe COVID safety protocols. Proof of vaccination and a background check will be required as part of a conditional offer of employment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Hands-on cleaning and organization of residence utilizing a weekly schedule and checklist, covering both regular cleaning and deep cleaning • Complete laundry to exacting standards, including machine and hand-wash, careful machine and hang drying, stain removal, ironing/hand steaming, mending • Change bed linens and make beds • Monitor and re-stock household and personal care supplies • Manage wardrobe, keeping closet organized and seasonally appropriate • Pack and unpack Employers for travel • Clean and maintain cat’s room • Organize dry cleaning for pickup • Additional organizing and special home projects as requested EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing residential housekeeping, household assistance, laundry, and organizing support • Expert knowledge of laundry care • Extremely organized and efficient • Demonstrated experience maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of a private employer • Must have own dependable transportation, and if coming from East Puget Sound, be able to navigate ferry schedules in all seasons • Comfortable with pets • Able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders for cleaning • Excellent references • COVID-19 vaccination(s) Please reply to this post with resume and statement of interest
