A busy couple on Bainbridge Island is seeking a capable and energetic Assistant/Errand Runner to provide multifaceted support to their lives and business activities in the fields of social and environmental impact. Duties cover a wide range of tasks including picking up mail and packages, processing online order returns, troubleshooting appliances, procuring and wrapping gifts, dropping off dry cleaning, coordinating vehicle maintenance, entertaining a lovable cat, running trips to Seattle and Poulsbo, and picking up coffee. If you are eager to help, are good with your hands, have a reliable vehicle, care about making the world a better place; and pride yourself on seeing no task as less important then any other - this just might be the perfect job for you. You must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and willing to observe COVID safety protocols. Proof of vaccination and a background check will be required as part of a conditional offer of employment. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high emotional intelligence • Ability to both work independently and take direction, and receive feedback with grace • Extremely organized and efficient • Full-time availability (30-40 hours/week) • Long-term orientation: Not looking for gig work • Computer and tech-savvy; fluent on a Mac, including Mail, Word, iCal, Google Suite • Calendar management experience • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of a private employer • Local (West Puget Sound) candidates only • Able to lift 50lbs • Excellent references Please reply to this ad with: 1.
