Experienced older bassist seeking an ORIGINAL MUSIC PROJECT. I play 4 and 8 string bass, 6 and 12 string rhythm guitar. Also play some keys - piano/synth/Hammond, and hand percussion. I also engineer, and I've produced 4 CDs. Reliable transportation. I show up on time, ready to work. Interested in writing/recording/performing original music that we write together. I'm easy to work with, and a total team player. With me, it's all about THE MUSIC. Pro gear, attitude, experience, WITHOUT THE EGO/BS some people exhibit. I have over 40 tunes I've written, all are copyrighted and available to use, controlled under my publishing. I have LA contacts and know the music biz. I'm married, but free to travel when the time comes. Non-smoker, no drugs or alcohol issues. I'm 100% vaccinated (Pfizer) and ready to work. My influences are: Beatles, Who, Zep, Motown, Grand Funk, MC5, Cactus, Seger, Vanilla Fudge, Foo Fighters, Petty, Moody Blues, Mooney Suzuki, Purple, Traffic/Steve Winwood, Alice Cooper, Frost, ALL Detroit rock, and tons more besides them. Bass influences are; Paul McCartney, John Entwistle, John Paul Jones, James Jamerson, Mel Schacher, Tim Bogert, Roger Glover. In other words, guys who ROCK. I grew up in the Detroit music scene, spent weekends going to Mt. Holly, Grande Ballroom, Cobo, Alpine Valley, 300 Bowl, IRock, Harpos, Emerald Theater, etc., just about anywhere music was being performed in the Detroit area. I'm an ear musician who can hear a tune once, and am able to play it right then. I also do studio sessions, voice-overs and commercials. I sing lead and backing vocals (up to 6 tracks on my own), and I can harmonize with anyone. Send me a note about you and your band/project. I'll respond within one day, and we'll go from there.
