Link Staffing is currently seeking Housekeepers, Grill Cooks, Tray Line Cooks, Hostesses, and Dishwashers for Hospital Cafeteria Food Service to join our team! These are full-time temp-to-hire positions with the eligibility to be hired after 90 days. Location is throughout the San Antonio area and the positions are for Immediate Hire!!! We have the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available. $13.00-$14.00 an hour. This is a weekly pay and we do not hold a week back with plenty of over time! Requirements: •Work as a team in a fast-paced environment •Wear the proper attire including non-slip shoes •Be punctual and adhere to your schedule •Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations •Work hours vary and must be flexible •Must be able to pass a background check (NO FELONIES) •Must have a stable work history (reliable) Housekeepers: $13-$14.00 an hour •clean patient rooms, surgical areas, offices, and waiting areas using cleaning chemicals and disinfectants •clean and sanitize floors, equipment, and furniture according to infection-control policies •operate various types of cleaning equipment •handle and dispose of waste using standard procedures •clean mattresses and beds according to established procedures •collect dirty laundry from patient areas and place it in designated locations •distribute clean linen and hospital gowns •maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies according to prescribed standards •monitor inventory of supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper •Must be able to work every other weekend Floor Technician: $14.00 an hour Sweep and mop floors. Assist with striping, buffing, and waxing surfaces. Perform light window and wall cleaning duties. Maintain equipment and supplies. Follow workplace safety standards. Cooks, Prep Cooks: $13-$14.00 an hour •Previous have previous experience in food service or other related fields (Cooks, and Hostess) •Slicing, cutting, and preparing meat and vegetables •Grilling meats and vegetables •Estimate food requirements •Follow recipes and presentation specifications •Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently •Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation •Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment •Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes •Must be able to work every other weekend •Ability to strive in a fast-paced environment •Awareness of Safe Food Handling Practices •Awareness of Equipment Safety •Detail Oriented •Knife Handling Skills •MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK •Strong attention to detail •Must be able to start immediately •Must have a current TB test and current Food Handlers Certificate •Call us for more details Hostess: $12.75 an hour •Assists customers with opening containers and cutting food when requested. •Collects trays and places garbage and trash in designated containers. •Records the amount and type of special food items served to patients. •Brew’s coffee and tea. May be required to restock other beverage areas. •Interacts with customers in the serving and dining areas. •May take orders from patients •May assemble and deliver patient trays •Replenish floor stock. •Delivers carts to the correct floor or patient area. •Serves trays to patients and determines if they need anything else. Dishwashers: $12.00-$12.50 an hour •Follows approved procedures for dish room utilizing three-compartment sinks for pots and pans, scrubbing as needed. Load and unload dishes through the dishwashing machine. Retrieves dirty dishes from production areas to be cleaned. Stack, store, and return dishes to their storage locations in the kitchen and cafeteria throughout the shift. Cleans Room Service carts after each use. Maintains a clean workspace throughout the shift. •Follow proper procedures cleaning and sanitizing dishes and cookware for Patient Room Services and Kitchen and Cafeteria. •Supports service excellence initiatives with proactive efforts. Qualifications: •Previous have previous experience in food service or other related fields (Cooks, and Hostess) •Must be able to work every other weekend •Ability to strive in a fast-paced environment •Must pass a BACKGROUND CHECK •Strong attention to detail •Must be able to start immediately Hours vary must be flexible mornings and afternoons, Weekly PAY!!!
