The City of Troutdale is recruiting for a Parks & Facilities Worker I. Application deadline: October 27, 2021 Position summary: Perform routine and semi-skilled work in corrective and preventative maintenance to City buildings, grounds and equipment. a) Plant, cultivate and maintain lawns, trees, shrubs and flowers including fertilizing, mowing, trimming, edging and pruning. Install bark mulch in flower beds. b) Operate and maintain mowers, chainsaws, weed eaters, light trucks, tractors, and other tools and equipment. c) Maintain playground equipment, benches, tables, and picnic structures. May assist in the construction and installation of similar items and facilities. d) Clean and sanitize public restrooms, empty trash and pick up trash at assigned parks.
