Now Interviewing Professional & Knowledgeable Construction Superintendent / Project Manager G&C Excavators, Inc. is looking for a professional, experienced Construction Superintendent / Project Manager. G&C Excavators has several job sites across the greater Austin area and is looking to expand our supervisory team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years related experience in the excavation industry, some of that in a leadership role, have experience operating heavy equipment, and the ability to read project plans, manage crews, job scheduling, provide quality control, and manage project logistics. Applicant should have some computer experience with some knowledge of construction job costing and the ability to work in Microsoft programs. The ability to communicate effectively with owners, customers, vendors, other contractors, office staff, crew leaders, and general laborers is essential. Responsibilities include: • Field crew supervision and project management • Overseeing the operation, transport, and maintenance of heavy equipment • Job & employee scheduling • Understanding excavation materials, methods, and processes • Assessing site characteristics and construction risks & exposures • Ability to read & implement plans, do project layout, and make necessary adjustments • Equipment operation as needed • Planning out job needs Salary will be commensurate with experience, but we are looking to hire in the $100,000-$150,000/ year range.
