Our Local Operation team provides specialty/unique services for movers and relocating customers throughout the Tri-State area. Using company vehicles, Residential Assembly Technicians are dispatched to daily assignments serving private residences and businesses. Residential Assembly Technicians will support our experienced Lead Technicians on daily truck routes, performing a variety of duties, including appliance disconnect and reconnect, crating and disassembly and/or reassembly of household goods such as swing sets, furniture, grandfather clocks, pool tables, etc. This person also helps build custom wooden crates as needed for such items as flat screen TV's, marble or glass table tops, art work, antiques and other items requiring special handling during a move. This is a great opportunity to learn carpentry and other useful household skills. Training on the safe operation of power tools, including nail guns and table saws will be provided. What We Require: Ability to learn basic carpentry Safe driving skills and valid driver’s license Strong customer service for our move clients Crating experience, shrink wrapping, furniture assembly and moving experience is a HUGE plus Previous trade experience is a plus Early start times, flexible scheduling, overtime, and some Saturday hour Able to handle challenging situations High school diploma and some related experience or general technical training or know-how are preferred What We Offer: Eligible for RAISES, performance BONUS, profit-sharing BONUS, year-end BONUS, and TIPS Advancement opportunities Company provided tools and truck - you do not have to use your personal items!
