General Maintenance Worker We are looking for someone to assist with residential and commercial repairs for our small property management company. Someone who is knowledgeable with basic grounds keeping, general repairs and painting. We’re offering: • Early morning hours. • Full time – 40 hours per week. • Consistent schedule. • Flexible hours when sick time is needed. • Work independently. • Paid vacation after 6 months of service. • $16-$20 per hour, depending on experience. Your responsibilities: • Assist with leaf and snow removal for the upcoming season. • Maintain grounds, including yard upkeep, trimming, edging, mowing lawn, collecting trash, etc. • Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems. • Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped • Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs. Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. • Knowledge of general home repairs. • Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Related experience preferred. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods standing and walking. • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. • Must have a valid driver’s license.
