This is a “pack and ship” and ”warehouse inventory control and fulfillment position” for our 2 brands of smoking accessories known as Smokerolla (.com) and Mile High Glass Pipes (.com) CHECK US OUT ONLINE FIRST BEFORE RESPONDING TO THIS JOB OFFER. This position requires special care and attention to detail as you will create shipping labels for the items ordered online (rolling papers, pipes, bongs, vapes, etc.) the night or weekend before and then pack them for safe shipping across the country or other parts of the world as per our international customer base. You will start your day at 9 am at our downtown Los Angeles warehouse where you'll assess and prepare the nights or weekends orders for packing and shipping. There is some manual labor involved and applicants should expect to be on their feet the majority of the day. Beyond packing boxes and processing shipments, the full scope of the job entails many other tasks including, but not limited to, tracking, counting, and organizing inventory, preparing and inspecting orders, wrapping pallets, and otherwise helping with an assortment of basic warehouse chores including forecasting supplies needed in the course of the job. Being able to adapt to changing situations and make decisions (based on your training) is also very important as its not unusual for us to shift gears and prioritize urgent tasks, depending on the immediate need. We will provide you with the latest communication and organizational tools and apps to work with and train you to be efficient at all responsibilities the position holds. A positive attitude and energetic demeanor are also essential. About Us & Our Work Environment: We are a small team of highly motivated people working from a small office/ warehouse/ shop located in downtown LA (in the wholesale smoking accessories district) and have a number of workstations available to our employees. Beyond being productive in our respective positions, basic professionalism and office protocol is expected here but we also like to make it fun and enjoy our days too! Job Qualifications: (The MUST HAVE skills & assets you need.) - Must be punctual for work every day. - Must be capable of lifting boxes up to 60 lbs (although most are much lighter) and move inventory around the warehouse as per its assigned shelf space. - Must be computer literate and internet savvy and proficient with Google tools and the various programs we use for shipping and inventory control. - Must have a functional mobile phone. - You should have a drivers license and access to a vehicle (or at least have access to public transit) in order to get to work by 9am sharp. Our WISH LIST of additional skills or assets we are looking for: (we can train or work with you on these) - Speak Spanish (preferred, but not required) - Ideally, you will have had some experience in the smoking accessories or cannabis related industries and be familiar with the basic terminology involved.
