no one that I know of is asking that you be ashamed of the color of your skin. it is the belief that the color of your skin is what gives you privilege over others that causes the ruckus. I cant find anywhere in history where whites are considered to be only 2/3rds human. And it was the whites who tries to erase people of color achievements from historical records. we just had an instance where two black fire fighters were praise for their work, only to have the mural of the two painted with white faces
