The Arbor Greene Community Development District in Tampa, Florida, seeks a weekend Grounds Maintenance employee. The shift is from 5am-9am, with occasional opportunities for extra hours. Duties consist of the grounds maintenance of 8 HarTru clay tennis courts, community parks, sidewalks, streets, pool deck, and all other common areas. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, raking the tennis courts with the utility cart, driving (on company utility cart) the property grounds collecting trash and correcting/making note of deficiencies, blowing off the pool decks and community center paved grounds, and miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager. The Arbor Greene Community Development District consists of 14 villages (sub-communities) and the Community Club House and Fitness Center. The community has 595+ acres containing walking paths, 90 acres of scenic lakes, 11 parks with play equipment, and the two-million dollar aquatic, tennis and fitness center. This beautiful complex supplies activities to residents and members of all ages and is host to numerous programs provided to the community. The community center contains a reception area, community meeting rooms, fitness center, and fully equipped locker rooms with access to the 8 Har-Tru clay tennis courts, resort pool, and Jr. Olympic fitness pool. Desired Skills and Experience Mechanical Operations: Ability to safely drive a utility cart while being conscious of ones surroundings as it is imperative that there are no incidents involving damage to company property or with other vehicles within the community. Detail Oriented: Experience working in an environment where attention to detail in meeting, or exceeding, the standards has a direct impact on the satisfaction of the end user, in this case, home owners Organization and Time Management Skills: Ability to stay focused on specific duties with the expectation to complete all necessary tasks during the shift. Experience: Any form of mechanical operations and a clean driving record is preferred. Experience in a detail oriented position and the ability to work in a self-sufficient manner to complete job is necessary. Job Type: Part-time
