Councilwoman Nice invites you to learn about projects and initiatives that will have a significant impact on our Northeast OKC neighborhood Councilwoman Nikki Nice invites you to a town hall meeting to learn about more than a dozen projects and initiatives that will have a significant impact on our Northeast Oklahoma City neighborhoods including: Innovation District Project Convergence Brockway and Lyons Mansion Jewel Theatre and South of 8th Urban Renewal residential property New COVID-relief programs to help individuals and small businesses Page Woodson Plaza and future development the Hill at Bricktown Clara Luper/Freedom Center This event is free and open to the public. Masks are recommended. The Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City was formed in 2011 to better coordinate land, incentives and economic tools that make Oklahoma City even more attractive to companies and developers. This includes the coordination, management, planning and/or implementation of: The city’s general obligation limited tax bond programTax increment financing districtsThe city’s retail strategy and incentivesCity and urban renewal redevelopment programsIdentification and development of job creation sitesPublic-private redevelopment opportunities We utilize several economic tools to create the best types and levels of support necessary.
