My name is Sho, full Japanese electric guitar player in central FL. I am influenced by Van Halen, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, and Def Leppard but also tired of typical cover bands:( As a Japanese man, I've met so many Americans who tell me "I love Anime!! I love Japanese cultures and I would love to visit Japan one day!!" That made me think: what if I start a Japanese rock cover band? Japanese rock songs many people might have heard from some Anime theme songs? Considering how many people are obsessed with Japanese, we might actually have a market for it!! Obviously, we should translate lyrics to English so English-speaking audiences will resonate more with it, but I am fluent in Japanese so we just have to work it out lyrically. I am looking for a singer, a bassist, a drummer to start with. The bands to cover are Larc~en~ciel, B'z, X-Japan, Luna Sea, Loudness, Radwinps, and so on. Considering we will be looking at a 3~4 hours setlist, I am happy to mix with normal rock songs like Slither by the Velvet revolvers and some Def Leppard songs. Also some MGK or Blink 182 songs. I am a full-time grad student + college instructor, so I value my time very much. Please be valuable if you are interested. While I do not have a full PA set nor practice space, I do have strong musicians' connections in the Cocoa Beach area. So come on out Otakus and kawaiis, grab your bass, grab your drum sticks, grab your microphone and let's rock some J-pops!! Thank you -Sho
