The Water Witches and Beveridge Ridge present a special screening of the 1922 silent occult masterpiece Haxan: Witchcraft Through The Ages.
The screening will be accompanied by an original live psychedelic soundtrack created by The Water Witches. The film, through incredible imagery and storytelling, traces the history and meaning of witchcraft. The themes explored in this 99 year old film, still hold relevance today. This is an incredible opportunity to experience Haxan, which is both a feminist film and a horror film, as we celebrate Halloween! Details about the screening below:
About the screening:
-Screening will occur upstairs at The Union
-Tickets are $10 each
-There will be a total of 100 tickets available
-All guests MUST show proof of vaccination to enter.
-Doors will open at 6:00pm.
-Show will begin at 7:00pm.
-Seating will be available in rows in front of the stage, at tables and at the bar.
-Dr. Gordon Briggs will be giving a special introduction to the film.
-There will be bar service available during the show.
-The film run time is 105 minutes, and there will also be an intermission.
-It's Halloween! Celebrate by coming to the screening in costume!
