MIT Symphony Orchestra invites you to experience their first live concert of the season. PROGRAM Bernstein: Overture to Candide Ravel: Piano Concerto in G - Venkat Sivaraman, soloist Respighi: Feste Romane In-Person Attendance: To attend this concert in person you must be a member of the MIT community currently enrolled in COVID pass. For Live Streaming Options: If you cannot attend in person, you can watch the concert via our livestream. You will receive the link to live stream upon registering and again in a concert reminder 48 hours in advance of the concert. For this performance: -Masks are required to be worn at all times The Music and Theater Arts section provides students at MIT the opportunity to experience the unique language and process of the arts. Faculty and teaching staff help students understand art’s demand for rigor and discipline and its non-quantitative standards of excellence and beauty. A strong, comprehensive program in both music and theater arts—encompassing history, theory, and performance—is taught by faculty and staff of the highest caliber.
