The Chronology Band is an active 5 member gigging band playing classic rock and danceable covers. Our music is crafted toward the music people want to hear at bars - and dance to. We are looking for a talented, experienced guitarist who: -is comfortable generally acting as the single guitarist in the band, playing both rhythm and lead as required -is willing to play broadly popular, high energy cover songs that span multiple decades (from the late 60’s to today) -is willing to develop a sound and utilize equipment that will represent that original material as closely as possible (within reason) -is willing to practice frequently, often weekly, to continue to refine and grow the music repertoire (we currently cover nearly 100 songs) This is an ideal opportunity for a guitarist who: Is a musician who plays and develops originals but understands the value of consistently playing out to the higher-crowd opportunities that playing with a frequently gigging cover band provides And / or Works as a professional outside of music but has previously gained experience and would like to continue advancing their skills by playing with a frequently gigging cover band NOTE: While growth and skill development are valued in Chronology, this is not an opportunity for a beginning guitarist.
