LCCC’s Inaugural Sam Watkins, Jr. Light the Way Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards LCCC’s Inaugural Sam Watkins, Jr. “Light the Way Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards” are to be presented to individuals and/or initiatives deserving recognition for stimulating innovative and analytical thinking that produces impactful economic opportunities that advance business, drive change, and empower entrepreneurial excellence to a new level of success in the global economy, thereby creating value for our society, business partners, and community. Select winning individuals/initiatives will fall within each of these six categories: Advancing Equity Leadership Start Up/Innovation Economic Development Acceleration/GrowthArts, Culture and Innovation Join our effort to stimulate greater economic impact within underserved areas of our community by helping us recognize the work of local entrepreneurs who are making a difference. We will also be spotlighting dozens of local entrepreneurs during the evening session's Business Mixer co-hosted by Melannaire Marketplace.
