We are thrilled to announce our first in person event in almost two years!
We’ve missed being together and want to create a space for us all to come together to build community and support. We look forward to an evening of mingling, sharing, listening and of course, chai!
We’ll hear from founders on exciting developments at Pillars of Peace, including Board President Khalid Latif. We will then move to collectively engage in a mindfulness and healing discussion led by our guest Bisma Anwar, a licensed mental health counselor and founder of Therappuccino. Bisma is a therapist, coffee lover, healer, helper, dreamer, and globe trotter. She works at Mount Sinai Hospital and has a private practice in Queens, New York; her expertise include anxiety, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral therapy, depression and stress management. She is also a board member of Heal Collective, a NY based organization which strives to raise awareness of mental health issues in the Muslim community.
Please note: We will require Proof of Vaccination or a Negative Covid PCR test dated within 3 days of the event at the door. The venue is indoors but is very well ventilated to the outside with large windows.
