River City Brewing and the Adopt An Elder Foundation will be hosting a wine pull event. Proceeds will go to the Carmichael Chamber. Salvador Ramírez is running for Honorary Mayor of Carmichael. Candidates utilize their time, talent, and fundraising capabilities to raise money benefiting 501(C)(3) charities. Because Carmichael has so many wonderful elderly residents Salvador’s connected with as the Director of Communications for Sanctuary Hospice, he is choosing to raise funds for the “Adopt-an-Elder” Foundation-which is an all-volunteer non-profit subsidy program offering assistance to low-income elders in the greater Sacramento area who cannot afford alternative care options.
