Hear from students Logan Dubose, Mike Liu and Seth Polsley and learn that you do not have to put your entrepreneurial dreams on hold! Logan DuBose ‘22 interests include medical research, clinical practice, medical technology development. I will graduate with a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) after the Spring of 2022. I serve as the co-President of a student-run MedTech Incubator called Sling Health TAMU and am the co-Founding Director of Olera, Inc., an NIH-funded company developing smartphone apps to help the elderly and their family caregivers. Upon graduation in Spring 2022, I'll enter residency to train as an internal medicine physician and continue to build a career that interfaces between clinical practice and medical technology research and development. MikeLiu ‘21 is the CEO of FreeFuse Inc. He is graduating this Fall with a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering (MSEN) from Texas A&M where he 3D-printed a metal to reduce the effects of osteoporosis caused by metal implants. He was the lead TA for the MMET 301 course and managed the rest of the team. He won the 2018 entrepreneurship award from the MSEN dept at Texas A&M and won the ASME South Scholarship award. At the 2018 ASEE conference, He presented a paper on “Interdisciplinary Research Experiences for Undergraduates”. In the past year, he was able to raise $75,000 for his startup, which has added new team members and built a growing user base at Texas A&M. Seth Polsley ‘22 is a PhD student at Texas A&M University, studying Computer Engineering in the Sketch Recognition Lab. He is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Cordical LLC., an app development company that emphasizes building software that connects intelligent, human behaviors with under-served users through machine learning. Seth holds a master’s from Texas A&M University and a Bachelors from the University of Kansas, both in Computer Engineering. He has previously worked at Lexmark International and MIT Lincoln Lab. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Registration closes the day before at NOON.
