The Vermont Council on World Affairs will be participating in its seventh annual Giving Tuesday event, celebrating our work as an organization and fundraising for our cultural programs. There will be a silent auction, as well as featured guests who will share their international experience and why global diplomacy in Vermont is needed now more than ever. Giving Tuesday is both a movement and a day held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, dedicated to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to give back in impactful ways to the causes and charities they support. Your donation is more than a one-time gift. You are helping support our cultural programs throughout the year, and expanding international diplomacy around the world! The future of Vermont depends upon the world beyond our borders. The Vermont Council on World Affairs, in cooperation with the public and private sectors, promotes an awareness and understanding of the world and its people through public forums, hosting international visitors and working with our educational institutions to develop programs for students, faculty, staff and community. The mission of the Vermont Council on World Affairs is to promote awareness and understanding of the world and its people, places and cultures through education and engagement.
