Drink for a cause! Jack Daniels Operation Ride Home! The Block Petaluma and Jack Daniels have teamed up and we will be hosting The Operation Ride Home Cornhole Tournament here at The Block on Sunday, October 24th at 2PM! $10 entry per team (two players per team) with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Operation Ride Home. Included with the $10 entry fee is a swag bag per team member, drink specials and prices throught the tournament as well as for the winning team! A little about Operation Ride Home- Reconnecting military families during this special time of year is one small way Operation Ride Home is strengthening military families. Operation Ride Home is open to active duty E-5 and below, both single and married, who might not otherwise financially be able to travel home. The ASYMCA works with the various military commands in specific areas co-located with ASYMCA branches to identify and prioritize junior-enlisted service members and families most in financial need. Plane tickets and pre-paid debit cards are given to assist those traveling. Since Jack Daniel's Operation Ride Home program began in 2011, the partnership has generated a total of more than $1.8 million in donations and sent a total of 8,583 individual junior-enlisted service members and their families home when it mattered most. Servicemen and women from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard have been assisted with travel to all 50 states. Help us support this great foundation and have a little fun along the way! The Block Petaluma with donate 10 percent of all bar sales durning the duration of the event.
