Tree planting ceremony honoring veterans and first responders with Congressman Mark Green. Green Interchange invites you to a tree planting ceremony honoring veterans and first responders. We will plant along with Congressman Mark Green, the City of Clarksville Forestry department, and the Tree Board. This will help replace trees that were removed near the station recently. This event/ceremony is taking place the day after Veteran's Day on November 12. Congressman Green, an Army Veteran, will speak. You may come simply to watch and honor those that have served, or you may join with other volunteers planting trees. No experience needed, and we will provide all the tools and instructions needed. Refreshments may be provided. Please park at the entrance of Pisgah Elementary school. You are also required to sign the City of Clarksville's Volunteer waiver found on our website. Registration required - limited to 30 participants. This is a free event, but we are requesting a $10-$25 donation per person to help cover tree and event costs.
