This four-week course from Aiken Regional will prepare you for the birth of your child. This four-week course from Aiken Regional will prepare you for the birth of your child. Expectant parents will learn about physiological and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy and birth. It includes various tools for coping with the discomforts of labor. The course covers labor and delivery, cesarean sections, breathing techniques, anesthesia and analgesia, exercise, relaxation techniques, breastfeeding and baby care. We are offering these classes free to Aiken Regional patients only. Register with Aiken Regional > Location: Aiken Regional, Sixth Floor, Classrooms A and B Instructions: Please bring two pillows, a blanket and a partner to each class. One registration is good for you and your partner. You only need to register for the first class in the series to register for the following three weeks, as well.
